Who do you use for local shipping
We currently use Singapore Post's SmartPac service for all deliveries within Singapore. For the first item purchased, it will be a flat rate of $4.70. There is an additional $1.00 for every subsequent item added to your purchase.
SingPost SmartPac service provides door-step delivery. The postman delivers SmartPac to the recipient’s doorstep. If unsuccessful, the postman will deliver to the letterbox instead. Note that redelivery service is not available for Smartpac. Once we send out the parcel, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number for you to check the status of delivery on www.singpost.com.
When will the coffee be sent?
All our coffees are roasted to order. We currently roast twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. When orders are received before 11.59pm on the day prior to the next roasting day, your order will be included into the next roasting day and we will send out the coffee a day after the roast date. For example, if you order the coffee by Tuesday 11.59pm, we will include your order in Wednesday’s roast and coffees will be sent out on Thursday.
Note that no coffees will be sent over the weekend since the postal service does not operate on weekends. Orders received from Thursday to Sunday will be posted out on Mondays instead. Hence, all coffee orders will only be mailed out on Mondays and Thursdays.
You will receive an email notification with a tracking number when the coffee is sent out. If there are any instances of delays, you will be notified separately through email. If we have existing stocks of the coffee(s) ordered, we can send out earlier, but this is subject to availability.
How long will it take for the coffees to arrive?
For SmartPac service, the packages should be delivered within 2-3 working days during non-festive periods (i.e. Jan – Sep) and 3-4 working days during festive periods (i.e. Oct-Dec). The estimated delivery timings are provided by SingPost and we are unable to guarantee against any potential shipping delays. You may use the tracking number to follow up with SingPost for more updates.
Can I order online and pickup my order from your shop?
You can opt to pick up your purchases in our shop as well by choosing the option to pickup in-store upon checkout. In general, you can collect your order after 12pm on the day after the next roasting day for any coffee purchases. For example, if your order reaches us before 11.59pm on Tuesday, your order will be roasted on Wednesday and collection can be done after 12pm on Thursday.
In any case, we will email you to inform you of the earliest collection date.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do if SingPost services the destination. Our website currently supports shipping to Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Hong Kong and USA. Once we send out the parcel, we will email you with a tracking number that you can check on www.singpost.com or www.dhl.com depending on the carrier that you have chosen to use to ship. Depending on the destination, SingPost may not be able to provide a detailed online tracking history of the parcel. For other countries not in the list, please send your enquiry regarding your international order at hello(at)nyloncoffee.sg before you place your order with the details of your order and shipping address. We will revert back with a shipping quote. We are currently discussing with service providers for affordable trackable shipments to all parts of the world and will update accordingly.
