A new coffee from the Gedeb district close to Yirgacheffe in Southern Ethiopia. The name of this coffee, Worka Sakaro, comes from the washing station located a few kilometres east of the Gedeb town. Owned and run by Ato Mijane Worassa, together with his son Daniel, the cherries collected from over 400 producers in the area are sold directly to roasters around the world for a better price and with improved traceability.

The producers in this area are a very closely knit community and Ato has made it his lifelong goal to not only produce top quality coffees, but also give back to the community in the form pre-financing, education and community projects that benefit its members.

Expect a vibrantly citrus cup as a filter with an incredibly enjoyable sweetness that goes along with the flavours. Tangerine and lime when hot, with distinct notes of orange blossom and jasmine as the cup cools.
