Kenyan coffees are always a big part of our offering as we enjoy the vibrancy, sweetness and body of a good cup. As we get closer to cupping the new crops from the new harvests, we are also onto our last Kenyan coffee before we await for the new crop. It is our first purchase from Kamwangi from the region of Kirinyaga, but it is a coffee that we have been cupping consistently over the past few years. Cherries are collected from about 1000 smallholders with an average of 0.4 hectares and processed at The Kamwangi Factory.

Exhibiting some of the well-loved characteristics of classic Kenyan coffees, such as currants, this coffee also stands out with intense flavours of red fruits and cane sugar sweetness. You might detect hints of floral when hot. Such an elegant and refreshing coffee.

AB stands for the grade and is a combination of graded A (maximum) and B rated at 6.80mm in the screen size that is used to sort the beans.
AA indicates the large sized coffee beans that are sieved to 7.20 mm.
