What Are Friends For (WAFF) is our version of taking care of your friend’s coffee needs but leaving the tough decisions of the choice of coffees to us.

Know someone who enjoys good coffee at home? What are Friend’s For (WAFF) is our way of sharing your love and care with that special someone through coffee. When you buy a gift subscription, you pre-pay for the filter coffee subscription for 3 months and the coffee will be sent out the following month after you sign up (as long as you sign up before the cutoff date - see below).

What will your friend get?

Our filter coffee subscription program is thoughtfully curated from the coffees we source through the year. Through the selection, we hope to expose customers to how varieties, origins and processes can influence how coffees can taste. Subscribers will also be given an insight to the seasonality of coffees from different origins throughout the year. Be it a preview of a new coffee, a different and unique offering of an exclusive micro-lot, priority access to new harvests from our partner producers, or one of our favourites from the current lineup of coffees, our goal is to give our subscribers unique experiences while enjoying their coffees at home.

If you choose 1 bag, your friend can look forward to an exclusively curated coffee that we sourced specially for that month. If you choose to subscribe our 2 bag option, you will receive that month’s subscription coffee, as well as another 1 other coffee that we will include from the range of filter coffees available at that point in time.

We will send a card with the first shipment together with any special message that you might like us to include on checkout.

When will my friend receive the coffee?

Subscription orders are roasted on the first Tuesday of the month and ship out the day after. Sign up by 28th of every month to commence the gift subscription for the following month.

The gift subscription will end automatically after 3 months.

All subscriptions are required to opt for local courier delivery. If you do wish to pickup your own coffee, please drop us an email so that we can set it aside for you. For any other arrangements, do drop us an email before subscribing.
